For new technologies, we focus on metrology development and design characterization. The team takes on a multitude of display, imaging u0026 sensing technologies across all product lines. We are looking for an expert, technical leader with experience in Display hardware to join the team championing calibration and test strategy through engagement in early stages of technology development. If you have broad experience across key hardware technologies, a strong product/customer focus, experience guiding sophisticated programs through the development process, and the ability to distill tradeoffs down to key factors and drive critical technology and product decisions we'd love to hear from you.

Description
The Technology Program Office in Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) champions technology calibration and test strategy while balancing between quality/customer experience with operational requirements. In this highly cross functional role, we are looking for leaders to engage in early stages of technology development supporting prototyping, design validation, simulation u0026 metrology development activities, as well as identifying mass production intent solutions. This would require proactively driving alignment and convergence plan with cross functional teams, identifying risks u0026 mitigating them — all while presenting frequently to senior leadership across Apple.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in EE, CE or related fieldn5 years relevant industry experience in display technologies nKnowledge of display and optical technology fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications
Background in display, optical design and optical-sensing technologiesnUnderstanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systemsnKnowledge of statistical data analysis, design, process and test FMEAnHigh volume consumer electronics calibration, testing and manufacturing experiencenTechnical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication skillsnAbility to bring focus and transparency to complex situations while monitoring the bigger picture and the needs of a rapid development cycle

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
