Job Summary:

The Receiving and Supply Team Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement, storage, and handling of products. This role combines hands-on operational duties—including forklift operation and inventory scanning—with leadership responsibilities to support and guide team members in achieving departmental goals. The Team Lead acts as a key liaison between associates and management, fostering a productive and safety-focused work environment.

Responsibilities:

Receiving all incoming plant supplies, maintaining accurate paperwork, maintaining accurate warehouse inventory and loading plant supplies.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure team members remain focused and productive, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Train and mentor new associates in accordance with company policies and safety practices.
  • Act as a problem solver and facilitator to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance, lead by example in professionalism and accountability.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to delegate and empower others effectively and responsibly.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and company policies.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • High energy level and ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of in-house supply identification system desired

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand 8–10 hours per day.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in food production or distribution environment preferred
  • Ability to be forklift certified
