As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and organized Board up Technician to join our team

SUMMARY: Board up is the process of installing ¾ inch plywood on the windows and doors of a property to protect it from storm damage, to protect unused, vacant, or abandoned property, and/or to prevent unauthorized access by squatters, looters, or vandals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Primary):

  • Install ¾ inch plywood to properties this includes but not limited to main entrance doors, rear doors, windows and openings
  • Install fencing to the property when necessary
  • Document all work performed and communicate progress to team members and clients
  • Communicate with customers about the scope of work and review the necessary paperwork

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • You MUST be team oriented, and MUST be able to work holidays, evenings, weekends and be on call for long periods of time.
  • Bilingual is plus but not required
  • Must be able to pick up more than 25lbs
  • Must be available 24/7 and be on-call 365 days a year

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • No experience is necessary we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Construction and Restoration background a plus but not needed
  • Valid Driver License
  • Able to pass a 7-year background check along with drug test

    technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
  • Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to lift/push/carry items more than 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Occasionally work around loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment)
  • Occasionally work around very loud noise (example: jack hammer work)
  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Automobile
