This specialized role combines industrial engineering expertise with facility planning to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. You'll provide facility master planning expertise including data analysis, conceptual design of best practice operations, equipment and software solutions, and process optimization while leading client interfaces to understand needs and deliver intended outcomes through facility layouts and implementation management.What your day-to-day will look like:Provide leadership in interfacing with client teams to understand needs, intended outcomes, and anticipated drawing deliverablesDeliver facility master planning expertise including data analysis, conceptual design of best practice operations, equipment and software solutions, and process optimizationAssist with feasibility studies while identifying and addressing areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and riskAct as internal quality control check for projects and participate in quality issue resolutionContribute to design by observing, documenting, and analyzing current operations and projected volumes to develop design criteriaProvide operational analysis and assessment of client facilities and processes including layout re-engineering and rack layout/procurementCoordinate implementation drawings development and implementation management while ensuring customer satisfactionContinue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practicesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5+ years' experience in traditional facility planning & layout functions within manufacturing and/or distribution center environment, including office spaceProficient in AutoCADGeneral knowledge of supply chain principles, modern materials handling, systems, and equipmentStrong communication skills with ability to connect with clients, JLL team members, and contractorsExperience in preparing and presenting presentationsAbility to demonstrate focus on meeting client and project requirements in timely and cost-effective mannerPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of lean principles and practicesSix Sigma / Lean manufacturing experience with Six Sigma Green Belt certificationExperience with conceptual facility layouts and process optimizationBackground in manufacturing and distribution center operationsKnowledge of equipment and software solutions for industrial facilitiesExperience organizing and managing documentationUnderstanding of modern materials handling systems and equipmentLocation:Dallas/Fort Worth areaLocation:On-site –Dallas, TXIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tablePersonalized benefits that support personal well-being and growth:JLL recognizes the impact that the workplace can have on your wellness, so we offer a supportive culture and comprehensive benefits package that prioritizes mental, physical and emotional health.
