Head Coach
Supervisor: State Director or Southeast Regional Executive Director of Educational Services
Purpose and Scope
The Regional Head Coach serves as a leadership liaison between the Educational Services leadership team and district partners, as well as independent consultants. This role ensures that coaching services are implemented with fidelity, project goals are met, and communication remains strong among all stakeholders.
The Regional Head Coach supports the success of assigned coaches, maintains high-quality service standards, and collaborates with the Regional Executive Director, Area Coordinators, and Project Coordinators to deliver results aligned with Kids First Education's mission and Trust Foundations.
Sales and Marketing
· Communicate frequently with districts and schools to identify additional academic and sales needs (three-week cycles).
· Support relationship-building with partner districts to promote new and ongoing services.
· Collaborate with leadership to develop potential partnerships based on observed district priorities and needs.
· Provide input to the Sales and Marketing team on emerging service opportunities and success stories for use in proposals and outreach.
Billables
· Work billable days
· Complete service reports for all billable and project management days.
· Provide direct coaching and support aligned to the Kids First coaching model and school improvement goals.
Project Management and Service Reports
· Serve as head coach on assigned projects, modeling effective coaching practices.
· Meet with districts and schools to discuss the scope of work and partnership goals within five days of project award.
· Schedule billable days in the Kids First CRM within 10 days of the awarded project.
· Conduct project management days at a ratio of one per 10–15 billable days.
· Ensure completion of service reports for all billable and project management days.
· Collaborate with the SE Regional Executive Director, Area Coordinator, and/or State Director to assign coaches to projects and confirm staffing needs.
· Work with Project Coordinators to define and document project roles and responsibilities.
· Obtain and distribute school data (e.g., schedules, calendars, contact info, start and end times) to all assigned team members.
· Outline and approve coaching plans and project scopes of work for assigned projects.
· Review and ensure all project documentation is accurate and saved in Dropbox.
· Resolve any district and/or coach issues promptly and in alignment with company expectations.
· Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with the Regional Executive Director, State Director, or Area Coordinator.
· Ensure completion of the Focus Impact Document by the first of each month.
· Maintain an updated calendar reflecting billables, project management, and marketing visits each week.
· Ensure accuracy of all data and schedules entered in the Kids First Management System (KFMS).
People Development
· Support and mentor assigned coaches to ensure consistency in delivery and fidelity to the Kids First model.
· Provide feedback and coaching to improve service quality and professional growth.
· Collaborate with leadership to align coaching assignments with the strengths and growth goals of each team member.
· Participate in 1:1 meetings with leadership and team members to promote collaboration and problem-solving.
· Foster a positive, solutions-oriented culture within the coaching team.
· Model professionalism and communication aligned with the Kids First Trust Foundations.
Product Development
· Collaborate with content and development teams to provide field-based feedback on coaching materials and strategies.
· Identify district and school needs that can inform new service models, products, or resources.
· Ensure all shared materials reflect the Kids First instructional philosophy and current state initiatives.
· Suggest revisions or updates to the Kids First coaching model, templates, and resources based on client feedback and data trends.
· Support the development of new projects as a developer, when needed.
Required Skills and Abilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.
· Skill in conflict resolution, collaboration, and team support.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and reporting.
· Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Kids First Management System.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in education required.
· Minimum of three years of instructional coaching or educational leadership experience preferred.
· Experience leading or managing coaching teams is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72, $80,000.00 per year
