We have been asked by a client in Sheridan, IN to help them find a Manufacturing Field Service Technician.
In this role, you will travel extensively to conduct equipment start-ups, installations, and service on shot blasting equipment. You'll be the face of the company in the field, delivering exceptional customer service, resolving technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through your mechanical and electronic expertise.

Pay, Hours, and Benefits

  • Pay:
     $ $32.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Hours/Shift:
    Flexible shifts; must be adaptable to changing schedules
  • Benefits:

What will you do as a Manufacturing Field Service Technician?

  • Conduct equipment start-ups, installations, and service on shot blasting equipment
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits and dispatches
  • Study system requirements and investigate customer complaints
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Conduct tests and resolve issues to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair mechanical and electronic systems
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

What qualifications will you have as a Manufacturing Field Service Technician?

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery mechanics and electronics
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment
  • Comfortable working flexible shifts and adapting to changing schedules
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively
