Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a full-stack developer located in Dallas, TX. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development tasks, creating and maintaining software applications, ensuring seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic, and working on continuous development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

· Develop responsive, high-performance, and accessible user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

· Implement secure and efficient RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front-end and back-end services.

· Manage and optimize data persistence solutions, primarily leveraging MongoDB (NoSQL) and relational databases (SQL).

· Utilize Apache Kafka for building event-driven architectures, reliable data streaming, and asynchronous communication between microservices.

· Champion a test-driven development (TDD) approach and maintain high code quality through rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

· Implement advanced testing frameworks and methodologies, including Cucumber/Selenium for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and UI automation.

· Conduct code reviews, mentor junior team members on best practices, and ensure adherence to SOLID principles and design patterns.

· Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them in a cloud-native environment using Kubernetes (K8S).

· Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for automated build, test, and deployment.

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, scalability, and stability in production environments.

· Work with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for application deployment and infrastructure management.

Desired Skills & Experience

· Expertise in Java (v11+) and the Spring Boot framework for building microservices.

· Strong proficiency in and its ecosystem (Redux/Context API, Hooks, state management).

· Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for high-throughput, fault-tolerant message streaming.

· Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8S) for containerization and orchestration.

· Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, alongside strong SQL knowledge.

· Demonstrable experience implementing various testing types: Unit (JUnit, Jest), Integration, and E2E (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).

· Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
