Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Event Specialist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences for our clients and their guests. As an Event Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and management of a wide array of events, ranging from corporate gatherings and trade shows to social occasions and community outreach activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee event set-up and tear-down, ensuring all logistical elements run smoothly on the day of the event.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote events and increase attendance through various channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary & Benefits

  • Pay range: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
