Summary:
The Sr Multimedia Specialist addresses unique customer business needs by designing and developing audiovisual, multimedia, and graphics to support training projects. Supports learning goals by leading projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and /or complexity. Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise and identify innovative solutions. Works strategically and collaboratively with stakeholders to execute multimedia functions. Possesses an in-depth and current understanding of instructional processes related to training and learning, using a variety of multimedia tools and methods to tell stories and to communicate complex ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Uses ADDIE, multimedia tools, and best practices to deliver innovative learning solutions for high profile and complex projects.
- Offer creative solutions to meet learning objectives, design, and integrate digital content into instructional materials.
- With minimal supervision, develop course templates, interactive objects, animations, immersive technology, and videos.
- Develop strategies for user experiences; make recommendations to enhance learning and/or user engagement within our learning management system.
- Participate in the conceptual phases of the project life cycle and pitch creative ideas. Follow established workflows, systems, policies, and procedures, which lead to work being delivered on time and at the appropriate level of quality
- Integrate best practices, client needs and feedback to develop appropriate strategies for implementing multimedia technology across a broad range of courses and initiatives.
- Share best practices, graphic methodologies, and templates with peers
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You may be required to float occasionally to other Children's Health locations including Dallas, Plano and THD Clinics. ( S tart time hours can be discussed during interviews)
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Learning and Development Req
- At least 7 years experience designing innovative assets including and not limited to infographics, illustrations, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, audio, interactive lessons and animations Req
EDUCATION
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Req
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Adobe Certified Professional Pref
- Adobe After Effects Certification Pref
