Janitorial Operations Manager – ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning (Indianapolis, IN)

ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning is seeking a hands-on Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations across commercial sites in the Indianapolis area. This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing people, processes, and performance to deliver exceptional service quality.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, train, and support supervisors and floaters to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, and dispatching across multiple client accounts.
  • Track and manage labor budgets, supply inventories, and equipment readiness.
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain compliance with ServiceMaster standards.
  • Build strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and quick resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership and business consultants to support account launches and renewals.
  • Address personnel issues promptly and professionally, in coordination with the General Manager
  • Model ServiceMaster Core Values and foster a positive, accountable team culture

What You Bring

  • Preferred
    3+ years of experience in janitorial, facilities, or operations management .
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and teams with efficiency and accountability.
  • Working knowledge of janitorial processes, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
