The Position Arkatechture is seeking a Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and scale technical enablement programs for Arkalytics customers and internal teams. In this role, you will own the development of training content across data and analytics topics including SQL, Snowflake, data modeling, and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau. You will deliver engaging learning experiences through workshops, virtual training, hands-on labs, and e-learning modules that build technical confidence and platform adoption. This role partners cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to ensure training aligns with real-world customer use cases and evolving platform capabilities. The ideal candidate loves teaching complex technical concepts in simple, practical ways and is passionate about empowering others through learning.
Key Responsibilities Training Program Development & Delivery
- Implement and iterate existing technical training programs (Arkalytics, SQL, Snowflake, BI/Visualization (PowerBI or Tableau), Data Governance, Data Analysis) for customers and internal team onboarding.
- Create engaging materials (presentations, workshops, e-learning modules, technical knowledge articles, quick-reference guides, and assessments).
- Deliver instructor-led training through virtual classrooms, webinars and occasional in-person sessions.
- Provide hands-on instruction in analytics workflows - data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and dashboard/report creation.
- Write and record technical documentation for the customer-facing Knowledge Base.
- Contribute to E-Courses on Arkatechture's LMS (TalentLMS).
- Foster interactive, learner-centered environments grounded in adult learning principles.
- Provide coaching and support during and after training to ensure knowledge retention.
- Develop enablement strategies that help learners apply new skills to real business problems.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to align training with product changes and client needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate and relevant.
- Support train-the-trainer initiatives to scale delivery across the organization.
- Collect learner feedback and track training effectiveness using defined metrics.
- Continuously refine content and delivery methods to improve learning outcomes.
- Stay current with analytics and BI trends; recommend new topics and approaches.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience developing instructional content (slides, tutorials, assessments).
- Experience in Python and SQL
- Strong experience working in any one Database such as Snowflake, Databricks, SQLServer, Oracle etc
- Experience working with visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Experience in Data Warehousing and BI projects
- Experience with AWS
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to support the Knowledge Base with technical writing skills.
- Ability and excitement to learn every single day at work.
- Experience in client-facing training
- Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
- Certifications in analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Data Analyst).
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Data Analytics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
