Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Automotive Porter to join our dealership team. This role is essential in providing excellent guest services by assisting customers with vehicle movements, parking, and related needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a clean driving record, and experience in hospitality or retail environments. Bilingual abilities and dealership experience are a plus. The Automotive Porter plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests while maintaining the safety and organization of our lot.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with vehicle parking and retrieval within parking areas
  • Safely move vehicles around the dealership lot, including delivery to service bays or customer pickup areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking lot to ensure safety and accessibility
  • Assist with guest services such as opening doors, providing directions, or answering questions about the dealership services
  • Support the service department by delivering vehicles to technicians or preparing cars for customer pickup
  • Handle cash transactions accurately if required for valet or related services
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during vehicle handling and guest interactions

Skills

  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills to create a positive customer experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission preferred
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Ability to operate within dealership parking facilities efficiently and safely
  • Previous experience in dealership, delivery driving, cashiering, retail math, or hospitality is advantageous
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
  • Cash handling experience is beneficial for managing transactions accurately
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week
