The Project Manager at Conductor Power plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of projects from conception to completion. They coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies while also managing risks, resources, and compliance to drive the transition towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Supervise construction operations daily, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Implement robust project control measures to optimize outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and clarity in roles.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
  • Enforce quality control processes and conduct regular inspections to maintain standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Proactively monitor project progress and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the execution.
  • Manage project budgets effectively, minimizing expenses while upholding quality.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold the integrity and reliability of renewable energy systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, addressing delays promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Identify staffing needs and provide leadership and guidance to project teams to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement best practices and protocols to minimize environmental impact and promote worker safety on project sites.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Implement monitoring systems to track the execution of the project and assess project outcomes against established goals and benchmarks.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, performance metrics, and financial analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, technical specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Establish knowledge management systems and share lessons learned to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge transfer within the organization.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, research institutions, academia, and government agencies to foster innovation, share knowledge, and leverage resources for mutual benefit.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.

  • Experience in solar construction is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a critical thinker.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
