Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance throughout the property.
• Assist with hotel-related tasks such as replenishing supplies, delivering amenities, and supporting housekeeping staff with various duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, and other common areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
• Support janitorial functions by managing waste disposal, restocking cleaning supplies, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
• Execute industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of larger areas or specialized equipment.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities across different departments to promote a safe and hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleanliness protocols are followed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and products used in large-scale or commercial settings.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
