Role
We are seeking a
Senior Data Engineer
to join our growing
Data Quality Engineering team
. In this role, you'll focus on enhancing our Python-based frameworks, optimizing SQL queries, and improving data access and performance within both the Snowflake and ServiceNow platforms. You'll also leverage JavaScript and related scripting tools to support automation, data validation, and integration workflows across systems.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement scalable, high-performance data models and pipelines that power analytics, dashboards, and data science initiatives across the organization. You'll collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and fellow engineers to build reliable data solutions that enable business-critical insights and product telemetry analytics.

What You Get To Do In This Role

• Develop and maintain robust Python frameworks for data processing, quality validation, and automation.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability on the Snowflake platform.
• Integrate and manage data workflows between ServiceNow, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems.
• Utilize JavaScript for scripting, automation, and ServiceNow data management or customization tasks.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable data models that enable analytics and reporting across business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune data pipelines and systems for optimal performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, particularly for ServiceNow scripting and automation.
• Experience with Snowflake and ServiceNow data models, APIs, and integration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data architecture best practices.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

JV20

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $140,700 - $239,200, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
