Sandwich Artist/Stocker

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Artist/Stocker to join our team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches, maintaining stock levels, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service or retail, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
• Stock shelves, coolers, and prep stations with fresh ingredients and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling and equipment cleaning
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Assist cleaning dining areas, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness
• Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing food prep and stock levels

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurants is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and recommend menu items effectively
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in culinary environments such as cafés, grocery stores, or retail food industry is advantageous
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
