Job descriptionDemoCorp is looking for a Director of Sales with strong knowledge of, and experience with enterprise-wide software and hardware technologies and value driven sales.Responsibilities:Provide technical support to the field as well as pre-sales support and customer directed field trialsManage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfactionWork cross-functionally as required and keep all parties apprised of sales activities, concerns and winsProvide detailed and accurate sales forecastingCompile information and data related to customer and prospect interactionsMonitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functionsWork closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programsManage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunitiesTravel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationshipsManage the use of budgetsDesired Skills and ExperienceRequirements:BA/BS degree and at least seven years sales experience in related industries (Energy/Utilities/Science)A proven track record of success (enterprise/carrier grade products)Experience selling analytics, data, predictive modeling, or business intelligence softwareAbility to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levelsOutstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partnersKeen understanding and appreciation of selling into large enterprise customers with traditionally long sales cyclesSelling hybrid (hardware and software) products a plusWillingness to travel as needed (>50%)
