Responsibilities

• Show up on time for all your shifts, ready to go
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies and food items with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate our easy to use Square POS system efficiently to process orders and payments accurately
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized service to enhance their experience & get them to come back for more
• Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and maintain accurate cash handling records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times

Qualifications

• Open availability for 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm shifts, open to work weekends if needed
• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge preferred; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus
• Reliability, trustworthiness & punctuality is a must
• Ability to work individually, take direction well and work as a team
• Experience with POS systems or till experience is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads as needed
• Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and the food industry standards is advantageous
• Caring for our guests as you would like to be cared for, being kind and considerate in all situations to people from all walks of life from all over the world

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
