Position Title: Estimator/Project Delivery

Location: Englewood, CO

Salary: $75,000-$95,000

Overview: 360 Rail Services is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. Responsible for analyzing project details, calculating the cost of materials, labor and time required to complete a project, providing accurate cost estimates to clients, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget, while also coordinating with the project team to manage the job delivery process throughout its lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Gather data on materials, labor rates and subcontractor costs.
  • Calculate estimated project costs, including labor hours material quantities and potential contingencies.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for clients.

Project Management Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress against the original estimate, identifying potential cost variations and taking corrective action.
  • Communicate any changes in project scope or cost to clients.

Required Skills:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex project details and accurately estimate costs.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to clarify project details and address concerns.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore and Bluebeam a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in cost estimations and project documentation.
