Front of House Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Smile
  • Create and Maintain Eye Contact

  • Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly

  • Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Operates a cash register and receives payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Maintains a solid knowledge of products and services available in the unit
  • Cleans and stocks work area
  • Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operating equipment with peripheral electronic data processing
  • Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers And other various duties as Assigned
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Models and support clear communication between the front counter and kitchen staff
  • Follows Chick-fil-A's operational policies and procedures
  • Follow the screens and job aids to make sandwiches correctly and accurately
  • Temperature check items to ensure food safety
  • Washes dishes as needed
  • Take initiative during non-peak hours to complete side duties
  • Maintains a clean and pleasant environment
  • Displays enthusiasm, courtesy, and hospitality by incorporating operational excellence, 2nd mile service, and emotional connections with our guests and employees
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which includes, but is not limited to, standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds and other various duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
