Growth Marketing Manager
About the Role
MerchantE is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who can blend strategy, creativity, and execution to accelerate our go-to-market motion. This role is the connective tissue across Sales, Product, and Marketing—driving targeted demand, elevating brand presence, and delivering high-impact communications to merchants, partners, and prospects.
The ideal candidate is a builder: someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, owns their outcomes, and can switch seamlessly between campaign strategy, content creation, ABM orchestration, and event execution. You'll shape how MerchantE shows up in the market every single day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Account-Based & Growth Marketing
- Lead the strategy and execution of account-based marketing programs focused on high-value merchants, ISVs, partners, and verticals.
- Build integrated, multi-channel demand programs using digital ads, email, social, paid media, and partner co-marketing.
- Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Product to define target lists, align messaging, and track performance from awareness to pipeline to revenue.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns with crisp reporting, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
-Trade Shows & Events
- Own end-to-end event strategy, planning, logistics, and on-site execution for trade shows, conferences, partner events, and MerchantE-led field events.
- Manage booth design, collateral, branded swag, staff preparation, lead capture, and follow-up motions.
- Build pre-event and post-event marketing plans to maximize attendance, meetings, and ROI.
-Content Development
- Produce clear, compelling content across digital and physical channels—one-pagers, product sheets, decks, landing pages, paid media assets, and more.
- Translate complex payments concepts into simple, high-impact value messaging.
- Create polished, customer-facing PowerPoint presentations for Sales and Partnerships that elevate MerchantE's brand narrative.
- Collaborate with SMEs across the business to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
-Email Marketing & Communications
- Manage all marketing emails, automated nurture programs, and lifecycle campaigns in our CRM/automation platform.
- Own mandatory merchant and partner communications with a high bar for accuracy, compliance, timing, and brand tone.
- Maintain strong QA processes for approvals, versioning, testing, and tracking.
-Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Compliance, Customer Success, and RevOps to ensure coordinated messaging and aligned GTM execution.
- Support enablement with co-branded content, sales tools, and communication templates.
- Partner with Sales Ops to measure performance, refine targeting, and support data-backed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- BA in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in growth marketing, digital demand gen, ABM, or related roles—B2B, SaaS, or FinTech experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ABM platforms, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling across digital and print formats.
- Proven success managing events and trade shows from planning to execution.
- Strong understanding of paid media, email best practices, and social channel strategy.
- Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Curious, self-directed, and eager to learn about payments, financial technology, and emerging marketing technologies.
- Willingness to travel for industry conferences, trade shows, and team collaboration (approximately 20-30%).
-Preferred Education, Skills or Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint excellence is a plus).
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM/automation tools.
- Understanding of digital advertising platforms and LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram for business.
- Prior experience in FinTech, payments, or SaaS (preferred, not required).
Ability to work flexible hours when preparing for major events.
MerchantE
is committed to creating a diverse work environment and we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
