Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic team at Peppino's Downtown Sports Lounge in Grand Rapids. In this role, you will be essential in preparing high-quality grilled dishes that delight our guests and contribute to our vibrant dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
  • Assist in menu planning and development of new grilled dishes.
  • Train new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety practices.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with various grilling equipment and techniques preferred.
