Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, professional, career trainer who is looking for a place to apply their skills and grow. This is not for people who take training casually or want extra income. We have a high standard.
No sales, micromanagement, or fluff. We coach based in exercise science, and have fun.
What we're looking for:
- Professional training experience (3 years minimum)
- Maturity, life experience, accountability, and good people
- An above average knowledge in exercise science, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and program design
- Strong professional, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience working with aches, pains, simple and complex injuries, as well as common medical conditions
- Ability to deliver results for diverse personalities and goals - "they're not a good fit for me" does not fly
- A positive, self motivated, and team oriented attitude
- A desire to be the absolute best coach and continue learning and growing with likeminded professionals
- Someone who actually lives a healthy lifestyle and takes fitness seriously

Responsibilities:
- Conduct personalized training sessions tailored to individual client goals and fitness levels
- Develop and implement customized workout programs based on anatomy, physiology, and exercise science principles
- Create personalized programs that help clients achieve results and address their wants and needs holistically
- Support clients by providing accountability and guidance outside of your session
- Contribute to a positive and safe training environment by adhering to company policies and standards
- Participate in team meetings, be open to constructive feedback, and be bold in providing constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Active personal training certification
- Active CPR/AED/First Aid certificate
- At Least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, positive attitude
- Career oriented & initiative in personal and professional development
Preferences:
- Degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology or related field
- PT and/or corrective exercise experience
- Experience with body composition, VO2 max, metabolic, and/or other exercise physiology tests
- Nutrition Certification (or interest in obtaining one)
- Other certifications and specialties - ie run coaching, functional nutrition, manual therapy, CSCS, etc. - anything that can help diversify our professional offerings
- Desire to acquire additional skills and certifications
- Active social media presence and connections in the community
- Interest in learning, continuing education, collaborative projects
