Led by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Rocco Piazza, we specialize in advanced surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic treatments designed to help our clients look and feel their best. We are a purpose-driven, team-oriented practice that values innovation, education, and exceptional patient experiences.

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and hands-on Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of our organic social media presence. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging, trend-driven content across multiple platforms, supporting our providers in content creation, and growing our brand visibility and engagement.

This is a dynamic, creative role ideal for someone who loves being behind and in front of the camera, is passionate about aesthetics and skincare, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Organic Social Media Management (Owner)

  2. Lead strategy and execution for all organic social media efforts.

  3. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and maintain a monthly content calendar.
  4. Monitor social performance metrics and optimize content based on data and trends.

  5. Content Creation

  6. Plan, shoot, and edit compelling short-form and long-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, static posts).

  7. Create eye-catching graphics and compelling written content tailored for each platform.
  8. Assist providers (3 nonsurgical) by filming a minimum of 2 posts per week for each provider.
  9. Independent branding for 3 nonsurgical providers.

  10. Social Media Management

  11. Manage day-to-day operations of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  12. Respond to comments and DMs professionally and promptly.
  13. Actively engage with followers and comment on posts from likeminded accounts to boost visibility and community engagement.

  14. Video & Photo Production

  15. Capture high-quality photo and video content using iPhone or other provided equipment.

  16. Edit video and photo content using mobile and/or desktop tools to meet brand standards.
  17. Ensure all content is on-brand, aesthetically consistent, and aligned with current trends.

  18. Trend Research & Implementation

  19. Stay current on platform algorithm updates, content styles, audio trends, and visual trends.

  20. Regularly integrate trending formats, sounds, and topics to increase reach and relevance.

  21. Influencer Marketing & Giveaways

  22. Identify and partner with local Austin influencers; coordinate service trades in exchange for promotional content.

  23. Manage influencer relationships, ensure brand guidelines are followed, and track content deliverables.
  24. Plan and execute monthly or bi-monthly giveaways in collaboration with local businesses.

  25. Reporting & Analysis

  26. Track and analyze content performance and campaign results across platforms.

  27. Provide monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

In-Office Requirement

  • Must be available to work in-office at least 2-3 days per week for filming, photography, and real-time collaboration with team and providers.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in beauty, aesthetics, or wellness industries.
  • Proficient in content creation, especially short-form video (Reels, TikToks).
  • Strong video and photo editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • Comfortable working both behind and in front of the camera.
  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, influencer marketing, and platform algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple content streams.
  • Passion for aesthetics, skincare, and patient education.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with aesthetic medical or skincare brands.
  • Basic graphic design and branding knowledge.
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance in social media.
  • Photography/videography skills.
