Role: Advanced Configuration Management Associate

Client: Defense-Aerospace

Hourly Rate: up to $32/hr W2, non-benefited

Length: Temp to perm

Location: Canonsburg, PA

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Description:

  • Implementing and maintaining an Engineering Change Notice System, including product improvements, repairs, and new product development
  • Coordinate the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure appropriate changes are documented and controlled.
  • Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
  • Work across organizations with Engineering, Quality, Support and Manufacturing, to coordinate processes and design control.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in executing a Configuration Management/change control process in both a development and manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry and DOD standards, Hardware, and Software Configuration Management practices.
  • Experience in change control boards, approval processes, and comment adjudication.
  • Experience facilitating and conducting Configuration Management audits.
  • Experience in the assessment of Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to develop, control, and manage multiple product & allocated baselines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications, Jira, and Product Data Management (PDM) applications.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical field or equivalent experience is required.
