Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop strategies for continuous data collection and integration.
  • Lead AI-driven research to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with Title 13 requirements.
  • Promote advanced analytics and data governance across Census programs.
  • Collaborate with program and IT stakeholders to align data science initiatives with mission objectives.
  • Implement data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage capabilities for transparency.
  • Oversee training and mentoring programs to upskill teams in AI, machine learning, and analytics.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science

  • Experience:

  • Proven leadership in AI, data analytics, or data management
  • Experience with demographic, administrative, or geospatial datasets preferred
