Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Production Artist with proven expertise in color separations for screen printing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the screen printing industry and is highly proficient in preparing accurate, production-ready artwork. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality spot color, index, simulated process, and CMYK color separations.
  • Prepare and finalize production-ready artwork for screen printing.
  • Clean up, adjust, and optimize customer artwork while maintaining design integrity.
  • Set up correct trapping, halftones, mesh counts, and registration marks for various print methods.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure accurate artwork setup.
  • Review and approve pre-press proofs prior to screen creation.
  • Maintain consistent file organization, naming conventions, and workflow standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of screen printing experience, with a focus on pre-press and color separations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of screen printing processes, inks, halftone theory, and garment printing.
  • Excellent color accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
