Are you passionate about greeting guests in a pleasant and efficient manner? Do you have experience in the event industry and/or an interest in the adult beverage industry?

We are seeking an individual with a passion for guest customer service, as well as an interest in the liquor industry. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage guests in a friendly manner, work independently, and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Help work the front desk check-in station at the Sip Idaho South Liquor Tasting Festival on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, from 3-8pm at the Canyon Crest Event Center
  • It is strongly encourage that the front desk to have one of the following certifications on file: TIPS, SafeServe, SureSell Now, A+ Server Education, or Boise Police Alcohol Beverage Certificate (If you do not currently have this, you can take a 2 hour online class, prior to the event. We recommend SureSellNow, as it's only $12.95 to do online.)
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, but fun work environment
  • Ability to greet guests in a friendly and efficient manner, as well as scan guest tickets and/or hand out promotional materials, such as 1 branded tote bag per guest, 1 branded sipping glassware per guest, etc.
  • Ability to tear down the front desk booth space, and help the team load-out, after the event is over
  • Must be 21+ to quality for this position

Sip Idaho is Idaho's Premier Liquor Tasting Festival This is a one-time gig, which occurs annually each year. For those who love working with us, there is the opportunity to work with us each year in the long-term, as well as the option of networking within the adult beverage industry.

Please note that we do a background check on all people who work for us. There is NO TOLERANCE for a DUI on your record, so please do not apply if this is your situation. There is also NO TOLERANCE for Theft of any kind, for logical reasons. We need a trustworthy team helping us out, someone who is willing to be honest, holds integrity, and is a team player
