Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist
to join a growing and dynamic team

Job Description:

  • Support environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs during the North Carolina Fab (NCF) demolition and decontamination.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Coordinate EHSS activities, including lockout/tagout, line break permits, PPE enforcement, and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Maintain records for safety training, inspections, and incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement safety controls and remedial measures.
  • Provide technical expertise and participate in safety incident prevention reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the "Protect the Pack" safety culture.

Position Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge of deconstruction, demolition, and industrial safety hazards.
  • Experience managing hazardous chemicals and applying chemical hygiene practices.
  • Proficient in OSHA and EPA regulations for general industry and construction safety.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver safety trainings and toolbox talks.
  • Skilled in using EHSS software, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and wear required PPE (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and clean room gear).
  • HAZWOPER certification, NFPA 70E familiarity, or semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
