Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home personal care and support to clients in. This role is ideal for someone who values building one-on-one relationships and helping clients maintain dignity and independence in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Monitor and report changes in client's condition or behavior
  • Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Maintain accurate daily care notes and communicate with the care coordinator or supervising nurse
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

  • Current CNA license
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • At least 6 months of home care or related experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Compassionate, dependable, and respectful toward clients and their families
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
