As a Senior Data Analyst, you will direct day-to-day operations, assess work quality, and mentor team members, all within a framework of professional ethics and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on data structure, planning, design, and enhancements.
  • Assist in defining data requests' purpose for the team and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit expert skills in analytic tools and programming languages.
  • Create and maintain stored procedures to simplify data evaluation and reporting.
  • Build and distribute visualizations and reports.
  • Foster a safe and trusting environment for effective problem-solving.
  • Provide technology leadership and ongoing skills training.
  • Support and collaborate with team members on projects.
  • Assess Data Analysts' work quality and accuracy.
  • Prioritize tasks/tickets for team members.
  • Assist in developing the strategic plan for the Data Analytics department.
  • Monitor efficiency and timely completion of tasks/tickets.
  • Communicate the team's performance to the organization.
  • Lead planning of long term/complex data and reporting projects.
  • Conduct onboarding training for new team members.
  • Brief pre-screening of applicants and provide input for team members' annual performance evaluations.
  • Function in accordance with Operational Guidelines and within professional code of ethics.
  • Participate in staff development activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • Expert skills in SQL, Excel, Tableau, Crystal, or similar business analytic programs.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

Physical Requirements:

  • ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
