PAAC is a high-volume, nonprofit spay/neuter and wellness veterinary clinic dedicated to providing affordable and compassionate care to pets across South Texas. Our mission is to improve animal welfare and support communities through accessible services.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our mission-driven team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a positive impact on pets and their families every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sterilize and prepare surgical equipment and instrument packs.
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and other animal housing areas.
  • Wash and sanitize animal bedding, towels, and other laundry.
  • Safely handle, move, and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments.
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed with daily tasks and animal care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or similar animal care setting preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong commitment to animal welfare and teamwork.

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Starting pay: $15.00 per hour.
  • Opportunity for a pay increase after 30 days based on performance.
  • Job type: full-time.
  • Work location: In person, Corpus Christi, TX.
