Location: Lafayette, CO
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:40–5/6 PM (flexible start; occasional early evenings until ~7 PM)
Hours: 10–20+ per week, with potential for ~5 additional household hours
Compensation: $25–35/hour (DOE)
Commitment: Part-time, ideally through the school year or longer
A warm, busy family is seeking a proactive and reliable household helper who can also provide afternoon and early evening support for three young children. This is a long-term role that blends household organization with light childcare.
Household Responsibilities
- Manage laundry: wash, fold, and put away
- Tidy toys and shared spaces
- Kitchen support: dishes, counters, lunch prep/cleanup
- Seasonal/organizational projects
- Optional extra hours for household tasks
Childcare Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children under 6 during after-school hours
- Engage in age-appropriate play and support evening routines
- Driving to occasional activities is helpful but not required
Ideal Candidate
- Reliable, organized, and proactive
- Warm and comfortable with young children
- Detail-oriented and takes initiative
- Safe driver with clean record (if transporting children)
- Seeking a long-term, consistent position
Job Type: Part-time
