About Us

Woodridge Landscapes LLC is a full-service design/build firm specializing in premium outdoor living spaces — patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, pergolas, and complete landscape transformations.

We're currently restructuring our leadership team to strengthen field accountability and execution. As part of that growth, we're adding a Hardscape Division Manager to lead and oversee all hardscape operations and crews.

Position Summary

The Hardscape Division Manager oversees day-to-day hardscape operations, managing 10–15 team members and multiple concurrent projects. This role combines field leadership with office coordination — including scheduling, material logistics, crew performance, job costing, and quality control and getting in the field to help crews with work.

You'll ensure each project meets our standards of craftsmanship, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate installation crews to deliver top-tier hardscape projects on time and on budget.
  • Plan and coordinate daily and weekly job schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Track job performance, labor hours, and material usage to maintain profit targets.
  • Work directly with Operations Manager and Owner to review progress, cost variances, and timelines.
  • Perform field inspections to verify proper grading, drainage, and structural integrity.
  • Support production — step in to drive, deliver materials, or assist crews when needed.
  • Manage and maintain division tools, equipment, and inventory.
  • Enforce all company safety and operational standards.
  • Serve as primary on-site contact for crew and client questions or concerns.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on hardscape installation (retaining walls, pavers, concrete, outdoor living projects).
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or crew lead experience managing multiple jobs or teams.
  • Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stone/paver layout, and installation best practices.
  • Ability to read plans and interpret project specifications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
  • Preferred but not required: ICPI or NCMA certifications, design/build or project management experience.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Experience operating or directing use of skid steers, saws, compactors, and related equipment.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Salary: $50,000–$60,000 DOE
  • Bonus/Incentives: Based on division performance (profit margin, quality, safety, client satisfaction)
  • PTO: 5 days after 1 year of employment based on earned time.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends for deadlines)
