Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Lobby in Morristown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in supporting a caring environment, reflecting our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and customer service.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location by verifying identification and visitor credentials.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters, including visitor management and access control.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, addressing questions and/or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist with security-related procedures as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
