You'll maintain various building systems according to JLL standards, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation, card access, doors, gates, building envelope, grounds, parking lots, interior finishes, lighting, and other commercial property operations.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Performing preventive maintenance and repair services on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various building systemsIdentifying energy savings opportunities through system and operational improvementsPlanning work assignments independently with minimal direct supervisionTraveling to multiple locations within your assigned territory in a company vehicleCommunicating with team members via phone, email, and in-personRequired Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial HVAC service and repairs (or 5 years military experience with HVAC systems)Universal CFC certificationHigh school diploma or GED.Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's licenseHands-on skills with commercial HVAC systems, pumps, motors, air handlers, controls, and electrical systemsPreferred Qualifications:Ability to perform on call duties and overtime as required.Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application.Experience managing work orders, utilizing CMMS technology.Strong English language skills including grammar and compositionExperience working in a service-related role, specific to commercial facilitiesLocation:NashvilleWork Shift:1st shift.What this job involvesThe HVAC Service Technician will have a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC systems. Individuals are expected to be multi-skilled in all areas (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing) to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.What is your day to day?Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities. This to include building automation systems, fire / life safety systems, and any other building related equipment.Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.Any and other duties and tasks assigned.Desired experience and technical skillsRequiredHigh School diploma or GED equivalent, technical training or degree.Universal EPA / CFC licenseMinimum of seven (7) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.
