Requirements of the Job:

  • Minimum of 2 years of back of house (BOH) restaurant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and work gracefully under pressure in a fast paced environment, without sacrificing quality of service.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and adapt accordingly.
  • An intuitive ability to build strong, positive relationships within diverse groups.
  • A can-do, team mentality -- no task is too small, and you're willing to jump in when needed

Exceptional candidates will:

  • Spanish proficiency is highly preferred but not required.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Able to perform all BOH such as prep cook, line cook, and dishwashing.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, be positive, polite, and cooperative with co-workers, managers, vendors, and customers
  • Work for long periods on feet including frequent walking
  • Repetitive movement such as pushing, pulling, bending, some twisting and stooping
  • Ability to work onsite a minimum of 20-40 hours a week
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends, as required
  • Up-to-date ServSafe Food Handler's certification
  • Safely lift and carry heavy objects up to 50lbs
