We are seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role is essential in creating an exceptional patient experience, managing front-office operations, and supporting the clinical team with scheduling, insurance coordination, and patient communication.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience
- Greet patients warmly and professionally in person and by phone
- Create a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment
- Explain office procedures, services, and financial policies clearly
- Assist patients with forms, check-in, and check-out
Scheduling & Coordination
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
- Coordinate treatment appointments and follow-ups
- Minimize schedule gaps and manage last-minute changes
Insurance & Financial Duties
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
- Submit insurance claims and follow up as needed
- Collect co-payments and process payments accurately
- Explain treatment estimates and payment options
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
- Manage phone calls, emails, and text communications
- Handle referrals and inter-office communications
- Support compliance with HIPAA and office protocols
