We are currently hiring a Local Household Goods F Endorsement or CDL Driver to enhance our local residential, military and commercial relocation services.

  • Transport assigned cargo (household/commercial goods) on interstates or local roads to proper destinations.
  • Assist and supervise in the loading and unloading of furniture, boxes, and other miscellaneous items at pick-up and delivery destinations.
  • Supervise the local moving and packing crew during relocation.
  • Effectively communicate and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PAY: $20.00 AND UP BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND LICENSE

SHIFT: Home Daily (variable start/end on the job for the day)

REQUIREMENTS: Class F or CDL Licensed Drivers who possess the following skills:

  • All drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least +1 years of recent driving experience.
  • Experience working for a professional moving company is highly preferred.
  • A good driving record is essential to be a driver with Cord.
  • Drivers are required to successfully complete SIRVA accreditation, background screening, and DOT physical and drug screening following the offer of employment.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVEL:

  • This position is a production-based field position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, 2/3 or more of the time
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds unassisted
  • The employee must be able to carry and climb a ladder.
