You'll respond to incoming inquiries from families seeking ways to help their children overcome deep-seated learning and reading delays using our unique neuroscience-based software at home with oversight.

Your recommendations will change lives.

This role is ideal for a parent with kids at school looking for a job during school hours. It's a flexible part-time schedule, averaging 4 hours daily.

Gemm Learning has been providing this unique service to families all over the US and Canada since 2006.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about education, has sales experience or is seeking a sales role, and is tech-savvy and self-motivated.

The expected income range is fluid, being about half base pay and half commission based on modest sales success.

PREFERED CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, and/or
  • Experience as a teacher or learning professional, and/or
  • Experience in a consultative sales role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To become a knowledgeable and trusted source for families on the science of reading and learning, and the science of our programs.
  • Respond to incoming online inquiries through Salesforce, make contact with the parent, and spend time on phone calls understanding the child's story. Families also submit symptom screenings that you would learn to interpret and respond to, along with program recommendations.
  • Where there's a fit, you would sell a program solution built around our offerings: Fast ForWord, Cogmed, DreamBox Math, and other software interventions.
  • Ultimately, this is a sales role that requires making outbound calls to respond to web leads, then constant follow-up as families go through an extended decision-making process. The sales cycle can take anywhere from a week to a year.
