As an integral part of our service department, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and dedication will drive our commitment to delivering top-tier automotive service.

Responsibilities

  • Must provide your own tools.
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair and maintain vehicles with a focus on powertrain systems, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical components.
  • Service GM vehicles and other makes/models with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards while providing excellent customer service through clear communication of work performed.

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates who are ASE Certified are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Expertise in Gas & Diesel engine repair.
  • Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical issues effectively.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service technology.
  • Familiarity with GM/Ford/Dodge vehicles is a plus; however, experience with various makes/models is valued.
