Engineering Manager
to lead our Maintenance Team and ensure The Borders Lodge operates at peak performance. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee building systems, equipment, and unit maintenance while supervising one team member and coordinating with vendors and property staff. Duties Include
:

  • Building & Unit Maintenance:
    Perform and oversee routine maintenance and repairs for all building systems, equipment, and individual units.
  • Pool & Hot Tub Maintenance:
    Ensure proper operation, safety, and cleanliness of pools, hot tubs, and related systems.
  • Supervision & Leadership:
    Lead and supervise one maintenance employee, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a strong, collaborative team.
  • Guest & Owner Requests:
    Respond promptly to guest and owner inquiries, troubleshooting issues and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Planning & Operations:
    Manage maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance programs, inventory, vendor coordination, and departmental budgets.

Compensation
: $72,000-$75,000 annually

Schedule
: 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old with 1–2 years of prior management experience
  • Prior maintenance experience and CPO certification required
  • Strong problem-solving, delegation, and time-management skills
  • Hardworking, dedicated, and able to lead a small team effectively
  • English speaking preferred; basic computer skills required
