As an R&D Chemist, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge silicone materials and processes. Your expertise will drive innovation through research, analysis, synthesis, and experimentation. With occasional travel, you'll also represent our company at conferences, trade shows, and customer engagements.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop new silicone products and processes through research, synthesis, experimentation, and scale-up.
  • Conduct analysis and troubleshooting for existing products and processes.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, FT-IR, particle size analysis).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and assist in plant operations for process improvements.
  • Support technical sales literature and investigate customer complaints.
  • Present research findings at technical conferences and trade shows.
  • Promote laboratory safety and compliance while suggesting improvements.

What You Bring:

  • MS in Chemistry (or equivalent) with 2+ years of R&D experience, or
  • BS in Chemistry (or equivalent) with 4+ years of R&D experience.
  • Experience in industrial silicone chemistry (siloxane synthesis, hydrosilylation, emulsification, polymerization) preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with a proactive and humble attitude.
