What You'll Do

• Drive event revenue through consultative selling, outbound outreach, and proactive pipeline management.

• Prospect, pitch, and secure new business while cultivating a strong base of returning clients.

• Own the full sales process: proposals, tours across all floors, menu recommendations, contracts, and deposits.

• Conduct tours of the property with meeting planners and potential clients.

• Collaborate with Marketing to build smart, on-brand promo campaigns that spotlight our spaces, generate new leads, and keep Chief's top of mind for corporate, social, and VIP clients.

• Represent Chief's at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and generate leads.

• Monitor market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

• Partner with the Event Manager to deliver a client experience that exceeds expectations.

• Build long-term client relationships that generate ongoing events and brand loyalty.

• Partner cross-departmentally with Operations, Culinary, Entertainment, and Production to ensure smooth event execution.

• Keep precise records in Tripleseat and internal systems to maintain accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

• Monitor pacing, analyze performance, and adapt strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.

• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, travel partners, and event planners to maximize bookings and repeat visits.

Who You Are

• You love selling in a fast-moving restaurant, bar, and entertainment environment where no two days look the same.

• You're comfortable with outbound prospecting and aren't shy about following up until you get traction.

• You bring strong presentation and closing skills, paired with a service-first mindset.

• You're a natural relationship builder who understands the value of trust and long-term client care.

• You're goal-oriented and motivated by hitting targets.

• You can juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and personalities without breaking a sweat.

• You're self-directed, strategic, and excited to grow your book of business.

Minimum Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a similar client-facing role.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and timelines with precision.

• Polished, professional presence with excellent customer service instincts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience with event management systems like Tripleseat or other CRMs.

• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.

• Familiarity with the Nashville market or similar high-volume entertainment destinations.

• Participation in industry organizations is a plus.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strategic thinker with strong prospecting instincts.

• High level of organization and follow-through.

• Ability to collaborate across departments in a dynamic environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
