Position Overview:

Kansas Paving is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to oversee underground utility and storm sewer installation projects. The ideal candidate will lead a crew in the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct daily activities of pipe crews on site.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure proper installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain systems.
  • Coordinate with project managers, equipment operators, and laborers to maintain schedule and quality.
  • Inspect work to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and production.
  • Enforce safety procedures and promote a safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in underground utility or storm sewer installation.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
