About Us

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott North - Houston/Spring is a beautiful 85 room hotel under new management by DePalma Hotels & Resorts. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Agent's to join our team and help us deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Position Summary

The Hotel Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing warm, professional service during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with requests.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Uphold Marriott brand standards for service and hospitality.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred

  • Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience (hospitality a plus).
  • Familiarity with Marriott systems (MARSHA, FOSSE, or similar PMS).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills, a plus in the McAllen market.

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts (day, evening, or overnight)
  • Weekends and holidays required
  • Flexible scheduling available

Pay

Starting at $13.00 per hour and Up (commensurate with experience)
