Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify vehicle issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, engines, and diesel engines as needed.
  • Execute vehicle alignments, wheel balancing, and ADAS calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle operation.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Inspect and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, and electronic modules.
  • Replace or repair components such as belts, hoses, brakes, and suspension parts.
  • Maintain detailed service records and document work performed accurately for auto estimating purposes.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations.

Experience

  • Proven dealership experience or service technician experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
  • Familiarity with schematics, automotive electrical systems, ADAS calibration, and powertrain components.
  • Experience working with GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is a plus.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
  • Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and customer service principles is advantageous.
  • Prior experience with vehicle maintenance including alignments and transmission repairs is desirable. This position requires a motivated individual with a passion for automotive technology and excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of automotive systems combined with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Pay: From $800.00 per week
