Position Description

This position is responsible for producing high-quality 2D animations for aviation training materials, simulations, and promotional content. The role involves editing and creating visual assets using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications to effectively communicate complex aviation concepts through clear and engaging visuals. In addition to post-production work, the position requires filming and photographing flight operations, students, and instructional activities to capture compelling imagery for both educational and marketing purposes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of visual storytelling within an aviation environment, while also managing the production and scheduling of content across multiple social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce 2D animations and assets, as well as motion graphics.
  • Collaborate closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure all content meets brand, educational, and technical standards.
  • Edit and deliver high-quality visual content within established timelines.
  • Lead and coordinate filming and photo shoots, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with project objectives.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a content calendar for social media platforms.
  • Create engaging videos and still image content optimized for all major social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
  • Work independently on animation and media concepts while maintaining clear communication with team members.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Arizona, preferably near Scottsdale, and be able to commute to North Scottsdale.
  • Must provide a link to an After Effects portfolio as well as other adobe suite applications show casing your skills.
  • Proven experience with Adobe After Effects (portfolio required).
  • Strong skills in animation and motion design.
  • Proficiency with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and related creative software.
  • Ability to visualize and accurately represent technical aviation topics through clear visual storytelling.
  • Experience managing social media content calendars and meeting project deadlines.
  • Preferred: Experience creating educational or aviation-related content.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
