Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in one of the below posting locations. In this role, you will work on a wide variety of projects for municipal and private clients. Types of projects include site design, sanitary/storm improvements, sidewalk and roadway grading, and water main design. Posting Location(s) for this role: Champaign or Effingham, IL

Job Activities:

Plan, design, complete and manage a variety of municipal and some private owner civil engineering projects from inception to completion, with oversight from senior engineers

Prepare and develop construction plans and documents

Collaborate with Farnsworth Group disciplines and subconsultants

Occasionally attend project, city staff, and board meetings

Prepare project proposals

Assist with business development efforts and developments of projects

Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies

Conduct project field observations and assessments

Specific Requirements include:

BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

8 - 15 years experience in the civil engineering field

Professional Engineering License (PE)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
