***Actual offered hourly wage will depend on experience of the applicant*** *** Salary Grade Range as of 7/1/25 ****** $ $59.55 per hour *** (if there is an advanced modality certification, hourly range will vary) ***Per Diem employees must make themselves available to work a minimum of 3 full shifts per month in their home department, one of which is a weekend shift in departments with weekend staffing. Availability must be provided to the department prior to the closure of the department's scheduling process. Availability must align with open shifts on the schedule. Must be available to work 1 premium pay summer holiday and 1 premium pay winter holiday. In addition to advanced scheduling, the per diem employee may be called to help with last minute scheduling needs***Summary of Position: Performs diagnostic medical radiographic services utilizing established policies and procedures and ARRT & CRT standards ensuring optimal diagnostic quality. Archives data into the PACS system and maintains accurate records of daily operations. Services are provided based on the age specific protocols. Maintains equipment and supplies utilized in the provision of services. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to identify and meet the individualized needs of patients and customers.QualificationsEducation:● Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.Experience:● One year recent experience as a Radiology TechnologistKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:● Highly effective written and verbal communications skills. ● Proficient computer skills as are required to document, communicate and enter information into the electronic medical records system.● Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.● Ability to collaborate with various departments in and outside of the Barton Health System in order to provide consistently exceptional patient care.Certifications/Licensure:● Current ARRT radiology (R) registry● Current California RT certification● Current fluoroscopy license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire● Current CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for the Healthcare Provider) or ability to obtain prior to start date.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
